Eleni’s track to a marketing career began practically at birth.
As the daughter and granddaughter of restaurant owners, Eleni spent many Saturday mornings learning the ropes (and responsibilities) of operating a successful restaurant. Fast forward a couple decades, and she’s developed her passion for small business into a company of her own. Sokos Social is now a team of five experts offering services that include brand development and strategy, web & graphic design, print & digital media, and content marketing to clients in the Manatee-Sarasota area.
Eleni and her team bring a unique voice to the crowded jungle of content marketing. Sokos Social strives to fine-tune your business’ narrative and highlight its most popular features with fresh wit and a keen eye for details. We are passionate advocates for small business and experts in brand development, whose aim is to understand our clients’ operations inside and out. Sokos Social is a Manatee Chamber Small Business Of The Year Finalist in 2019.
The first-ever recipient of the Manatee Young Professionals’ “MVP of the Year” in 2019, Eleni serves her community in a variety of capacities. She is currently a member of The Bishop Museum of Science & Nature’s Marketing Committee and the Sarasota-Manatee Originals Marketing Committee. She is a graduate of Leadership Manatee’s Class of 2017-18 and donates her time to a number of charitable event committees.
In recent years, she has participated as an Executive Committee member of the Manatee Young Professionals Leadership Board and is a past Board Member of the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation, the Manatee Seminole Club, and the Hernando de Soto Historical Society.
A lifelong Bradenton resident, Eleni’s professional background prior to launching Sokos Social in 2014 included marketing for arts organizations including The Ringling, home & garden consumer products, a chef-driven brewery specializing in the native flavors of Florida, and, of course, the hospitality industry.
Eleni attended The Florida State University, where she studied Political Science, with minors in Business, Communications and Economics. When she’s not “professionally socializing,” Eleni is an avid traveler (ask about the Camino de Santiago) and also enjoys cooking with her partner Jason, experiencing live music, and taking her black lab Nola on adventures.
